SmartBoot System® Lockdown Training
Our team of safety experts has worked in collaboration with homeland security, law enforcement, and educators to develop an advanced training program. We instruct building occupants on how to activate and respond to various alerts from The SmartBoot System®. Our highly skilled safety team leads guided lockdown drills at each facility to introduce the system and specific lockdown procedures.
Bobby The Boot, our mascot and classroom safety hero, helps young students grasp lockdown training concepts and feel more comfortable during high-stress situations. Bobby The Boot supplements our lockdown safety training in his comic book, during student training sessions, and by visiting K-5 classrooms. Our trainers explain the equipment and procedures using age-appropriate language so students of all ages and learning abilities can understand.
Armed Assailant Training
Our staff of law enforcement officers, public safety administrators, firefighters, and EMS professionals developed our proprietary Armed Assailant training in response to the unique cultures, characteristics, and demographics of our education customers. We have recognized that not all nationally recognized Armed Assailant programs work in individual settings, so we utilize components of each of these programs to customize a program that works for your specific district.
Armed Assailant events are dynamic and ever-changing so we designed our training to fill your staff’s “toolbox” with solutions to situations that may present themselves in their school setting. We will work alongside your local law enforcement partners to ensure your staff understands what to expect from law enforcement at your school during a catastrophic event.
Evacuation/Re-Unification Training
Our staff understands the importance of reality-based training, so we designed our evacuation/re-unification training in conjunction with a required lock-down exercise. This training is a vital part of an emergency preparedness program and is highly supported by several law enforcement agencies. We work directly with your local law enforcement agency to ensure that your students, teachers, staff, and parents understand their respective roles and responsibilities during an evacuation.
Incident Command Training
The time that an actual emergency occurs in your school setting is NOT when you want to recognize shortcomings in your incident command center. Our tabletop training program provides your district with the foundation and necessary steps to manage an incident at your school while interacting with your external partners and first responders. We will design a reality-based scenario specific to your unique setting, then exercise that plan identifying successes and shortcomings for improvement.
Workplace Violence C.A.R.E. (Collaborate, Assess, Respond, Emerge)
Our staff members developed this proprietary training based on national standards and industry best practices in 2017. Our staff members saw an overwhelming need to share our firsthand knowledge of how to keep people safe; not only in their workplace (OSHA requirement), but in their everyday lives in this challenging world.
We know firsthand that watching a video presentation on Workplace Violence/Active shooter response falls EXTREMELY short of preparing individuals for an actual violent encounter. Our passion led us to develop this reality-based training which allows us to put individuals in simulated real-life situations to experience what your body goes through under duress. We teach you how to overcome your physical emotions and stress factors and provide you with proven tactics to survive a violent encounter in your everyday lives, in and out of work. Participants walk away with a renewed sense of confidence and articulable actions to share with their co-workers and loved ones at home.

Reality-based scenario training programs like ours drive this point home, as we allow our participants to put into action what they learn throughout the training.
